Fresco Platform Update – Version 1.4.1 (27 November 2025)

We’re excited to share the latest improvements to the Fresco platform, designed to make your website management smoother, more flexible, and more reliable. Here’s what’s new and what’s been fixed:

• Tile Grid layout (formerly Fixed Grid)
  • The layout you know as ‘Fixed Grid’ is now called ‘Tile Grid’. This makes it even easier to create neat, visually appealing displays — perfect for things like logo walls, where you want everything to line-up just right.
• Up-to-date security and performance
  • We’ve upgraded Drupal core. This means your site benefits from the newest security updates and performance enhancements.
• Media Gallery for all
  • The Media Gallery component is now available to every site. You can add galleries inside accordions and tabs, making it simple to showcase images and videos wherever you need them.
• Easy content migration from Mosaic Carousel
  • Content from a static Mosaic Carousel is now migrated directly into a Card component. This keeps your content looking familiar and consistent.
• Improved Quotation styling
  • Quotes now look better than ever:
    • Quotes with a small image are displayed in a narrower format.
    • Quotes with no image or a large image use a standard width for a clean, balanced look.

• Tabbed content now public
  • Visitors who aren’t signed in can now view tabbed content as intended.
• Event Location display
  • Events migrated from Mosaic now show the correct location, and new events display location details properly.
• Accurate layout migration
  • When moving Mosaic list layouts, the correct number of items per row is preserved in the new Tile Grid.
• No more placeholder text
  • Migrated tabs and tab titles no longer contain placeholder Latin text — your real content appears as it should.
• Filtered Listings reliability
  • You can now save, edit, and re-save filtered listings without running into errors.
• Accordion title wrapping
  • Long accordion titles now wrap neatly onto multiple lines and align to the left, improving readability.
• Event Date Filter Widget
  • If you change a listing’s content type to one that doesn’t support event dates, the Event Date Filter Widget is automatically disabled to avoid confusion.
• External Menu links
  • You can now add external URLs to menu links, giving you more flexibility in navigation.
• Listing Buttons and links
  • Cards in listings can now have both a button and a link, each pointing to different destinations.
• Cleaner Headings
  • Extra space after adjacent headings in migrated content has been removed for a tidier appearance.
• Consistent Menus
  • On both mobile and desktop, the menu now displays all items in the same order, with sub-links neatly nested under their parent links.
• Tab Component display
  • Text components added to tabs now display at the correct width.
• Improved Search dropdown
  • The search dropdown box now fits perfectly within the page, with no awkward white space, on both mobile and desktop.
