Fresco roadmap

The University's new WebCMS, Fresco, will continue to provide new features that will be rolled out in a series of fortnightly releases over the next year. These packages of development will form a series of larger ‘waves’, each of which focuses on new improvements and features. The roadmap for Waves 3 and 4 is provided below. This is followed by an indicative overview of the WebCMS roadmap which shows all waves. Items from Wave 4 onwards have not yet been fully reviewed or estimated. This means that their order or specification may change. We will look at these items in more detail later this term and confirm what will be done first and when.

This roadmap is dynamic and will be updated through iterative, agile processes, ensuring that features are refined and enhanced based on user feedback and emerging requirements. Each wave represents a step forward, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the University community and the broader goals of Fresco. 

The final column shows features that will be placed in a wave after further technical and security investigation has been completed.
